Garden Shed & Picking Rocks

So far, Stevie is the number one reason we'll be seeing less rocks in the beds this year. Hopefully he'll have more help next work day.
Shed planner supreme, Steve Norris, and helper Larry, take a morning to make sure we have somewhere to store the yet-to-be-donated tools.

Next work day is April 4th - wait - that's tomorrow.

The Lord's Acre Breaks Ground

March 2009: This winter The Lord's Acre has been indoors as the hard-working committee works to make the dream of a garden for the hungry a reality. Next thing we knew it was spring and we bumped up against the reality of soil that needed turning. Here, garden neighbor and long-time Fairview resident June Grimes lends his tractor, equipment and expertise to the task.
Young volunteer, Gabriel McNair helps pick rocks out of the just-turned field.
