The Lord's Acre in May

A wide view of the bed section of the garden. Here are our
spring crops in all their glory. We've harvested much collards,
mustard greens, peas, spinach, lettuce and some beets and turnips.

Part of the field-crop area. Here, we put in donated locust posts
for the tomat0 and bean beds. We're setting up drip irrigation here
and are also growing summer squash and maybe okra in this area.

A close-up of our cabbage. It makes a beautiful desktop background
for a computer.

Freesia will be with us for June and July. A student from Warren
Wilson College, she's been very helpful in the garden and in doing
research for us. Here she peels kohlrabi for our fundraiser potluck.
